About

How The Beacon Works

The Beacon is a Christian, conservative news briefing built for readers who want the day’s important stories without wading through endless noise. We curate headlines from a wide range of sources, looking for stories that are timely, useful, well-sourced, and worth your attention. The goal is not to flood the page with everything happening everywhere. The goal is to make the news of the day easier to scan, understand, and remember.

“Better stories” means we look for items with real consequence, human interest, cultural weight, or practical value. “Better headlines” means we care about clarity, accuracy, and whether a reader can quickly grasp why a story matters. “Better sourcing” means we value original reporting, trustworthy outlets, and a healthy mix of perspectives. “Better imagery” means we seek out outstanding photography and graphics to illustrate stories. And yes, “better humor” means we all need a laugh and it takes too much time scrolling X to find it easily. We give it to you here.

The Beacon is designed as a daily habit: quick to read, easy to revisit, and grounded in a worldview that takes faith, family, freedom, and common sense seriously.
